SAN BERNARDINO The rapper B Real of Cypress Hill once boasted in a song that he carried a sawed off shotgun with one hand on the pump and the other hand on a «forty.» The term being slang for a 40 ounce bottle of malt liquor, the famed rapper may have unwittingly illustrated a study released by UC Riverside researchers. They say violent crime rates are higher here in neighborhoods with a higher density of liquor stores and stores that set aside more than 10 percent of their cooler space for single serve alcohol containers. Their study was published in this month’s issue of Drug and Alcohol Review.

The home, which boasts panoramic views, is a graphic illustration of how far the lower end of the market has fallen during the downturn.Property experts believe there are no homes in London currently being marketed for less. I have been chided for having a «juice box view» when it comes to sports which means the score is not important but kids’ egos and feelings and everyone should get their juice boxes and orange slices at halftime and everyone gets a trophy. The final score is very important because it’s that measuring stick if you win that’s the reward for a superior performance but if you lose it shows that your performance wasn’t quite as good and now the challenge is to figure out what went wrong. Measuring sticks are everywhere but where I sit from the cheap seats performance and outcome, and sportsmanship, are two different things.
