Yoga
Letters you are looking at are just a little bit confused:
For the message they intended to bring is to explain and show what is yoga all
about. It seems quite impossible to contain everything within a small text frame.
A great many information sources are available now. One can deliberately choose
for oneself, for example, that yoga is either for health or for unlocking creative
potential... or for spiritual self-improvement... or just realized as a desirable
inner state of harmony with the outer world... or state of mind, philosophy of
life... and so on... and so on.
People are becoming more and more informed nowadays
due to modern technologies and mostly Internet. It is hardly to surprise a man
of our time for he/she managed to read just about everything or saw practically
everything or tried almost everything. But, much to regret, there is an ultimate
difference between 'being informed' or 'having knowledge'. This difference is
merely
in practical use of information obtained and in developing skills and
gaining experience. A difference is in practice... In your possibility to open
yourself to changes brought about through practice or experience. Are you really
ready for it? Ready to 'sacrifice' your everyday lying on your cozy sofa and
watching telly or phone-talking with the best friend for hours or even a can
of beer with a nice fellow or... in order to make step towards changes and let
them in. It's never too late! If you still feel alive and embodied in this world
it only means time is the right to start. Get out of indolence in your body,
mind, consciousness or soul for it is death that follows it. Lack of flexibility,
refusal to improve yourself to further evolve may result quite predictably...
change in body or environment. However, newly incarnated person having flexibility,
experience gained in previous lives shall continue own development... Yet it is
not for sure you'll have a precious human incarnation (according to Rules of
Karma) as you luckily have in this life and best environment and chance to practice
(Yoga, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc. whatever the case
may be). Every teaching is about how to change yourself, fill heart with light,
purity, energy, joy, happiness, love and compassion... Start with yourself and
you bring this into the world thus making it better, purer, kinder...
Yoga mat is not a solution by itself for all the problems
accumulated by you. Buy a hundred of mats leaving them lying idle and nothing
will change. Read a hundred clever books devoted to yoga and you still may remain
at where you are... Alternatively, you may lay a yoga mat, step on it and start
you Great Doing - Your Practice and you will find a door to new healthylife,
into the world filled with light, optimism, harmony, self-realization, understanding,
wisdom and joy!
As always, everything we seek is close... Inside of us...
